Year End Wrap Up for Partnering with the Community

Year End Wrap Up for Partnering with the Community

One of my greatest joys is to be of service to the community. One of my greatest passions is organizing and increasing people’s productivity and the way they work. When those two are brought together it allows me to work with a variety of non-profits in the Valley.

Who did I help this year?

Wave Productivity has a program called Partnering with the Community. This initiative allows non-profits to receive Productivity Coaching and Professional Organizing. When non-profits can increase their productivity, they can do more within the community they serve.

There is high turnover in the non-profit field as many professionals get ‘burned out’. Self-care is a huge component to working in the non-profit industry and keeping great employees long term. Often, setting up routines, time to exercise and times to winddown and enjoy life our part of the work we focus on.

We also worked on issues and challenges such as:

  • Time Management
  • Email Management
  • Workload Management
  • Goal Setting
  • Strategic Planning
  • Scheduling
  • Making Meetings More Productive
  • Organizing paperwork, desks, file cabinets
  • Organizing documents on computers
  • How to Delegate and How to Track Delegation
  • Setting Up Processes

This year I volunteered over 150 hours with the following organizations. Each one does amazing work in the community to make Arizona stronger and better.

Local First Arizona

New Pathways for Youth

BRIC Tempe Library

Ronald McDonald House

If know of a non-profit who would benefit from productivity coaching, please contact me. I am looking for organizations that may need help with Productivity Coaching and Professional Organizing. My hope is that I can continue volunteering and making our community better in 2017.
