This program is specifically designed for people who have experienced trauma or who have been diagnosed with PTSD and are looking for alternatives to wellbeing.

Along with a dedicated group of volunteers, Margo provides ocean therapy-surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, in addition to yoga, mindfulness and educational information on trauma. The aim of Break Through Waves is to provide holistic health services by learning from the ocean to live in balance.

Margo values building a better community. Throughout the year, she volunteers with other non-profit organizations such as Social Enterprise Greenhouse and TDI Fall River working with individuals to help increase their productivity, organizing and focus. In 2021, Margo received the Volunteer of the Year award for her work with Social Enterprise Greenhouse.
