Waves of Kindness - Productivity - Volunteeering

Partnering with the Community-A Year End Review

Waves of Kindness

During the holidays many of us reach out to local non-profits to give them support by volunteering our time or writing a check to support their cause.

Wave Productivity has a program called Waves of Kindness where we partner with the community. Non-profits throughout the valley receive Productivity Coaching, not just during the holiday season but throughout the year. This helps them to increase their focus, organization and productivity while they provide their valuable services throughout the year.

What did we work on?

Area non-profits have the same challenges you might experience in your workday. Issues and challenges such as:

  • Time Management
  • Email Management
  • Workload Management
  • Goal Setting
  • Strategic Planning
  • Scheduling
  • Making Meetings More Productive
  • Organizing paperwork, desks, file cabinets
  • Organizing documents on computers
  • How to Delegate
  • How to Track Delegation
  • Setting Up Processes

This year I volunteered over 150 hours with the following organizations. Each one does amazing work in the community to make Arizona stronger and better.

Local First Arizona

New Pathways for Youth

Phoenix Art Museum

AZ Chapter of NAPO

Tempe Chamber of Commerce

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

The Center for Habilitation

Tempe Community Action Agency

NAWBO Phoenix

Ronald McDonald House

Here is what they said about their experience:

“Margo is amazing. She worked with me on organization of my office and email. I was feeling overwhelmed and unproductive. Margo took the time to help me look at tasks differently and prioritize better. Thanks to her direction and support I am more organized. Margo is great at keeping you focused and assessing your work habits to individualize processes for a more effective work space.”

Dawn Hocking
The Center for Habilitation

“Margo helped me immensely in reaching my professional goals. She helped me get very clear on what I wanted to achieve and the skills and information I needed to get there. I would recommend her services to anyone seeking clarity on what they want to achieve and how to go about doing it. Even the language she uses is a helpful tool. Thank you Margo!”

If know of a non-profit who would benefit from Productivity Coaching, please contact me. I am looking for organizations that may need help with Productivity Coaching and Professional Organizing. My hope is that I can continue making our community better and volunteering in 2018.
